Is it racist to boo the USA?

I found this link on the internet and I just couldn't believe the question - Being anti-american is potentially racist? - seriously how is that possible. I love that no one knows what racist means.

new racist words -- multicultural

my school just sent out an email announcing a workshop to help faculty recruit new professors. it will become obvious why this is relevant, as a passage from email read:

"techniques for improving our recruitment of multicultural faculty."

i think 'multicultural' has replaced 'diverse' as a PC term to refer to the 'other.' i wonder what lame think-tank thought that one up.

this being the south, i was joking with my friend about it, and he said, the dean just meant he wants to hired 'colored people.' that sounds about right.

who ISN T racist.

wait - seriously - this is another REAL question

What's racism?

is "Is it racist?", racist?

I think that this post was going to have to happen at some point so let's just get it over with.

Is a cheeky blog that keeps asking if something racist (and often times says no), racist?

no seriously.

NM t-shirt - only $15.99

I have a question - just because something might be offensive does that mean it's racist? Because I actually put this in the not racist catagory even though I can see a zillion PoCo academics' jaws drop all at once.

blue kills blacks?

Is "urban" racist?

Another submission from Cell Member. This one reminds me of the Homies phenomenon, which also gave me pause to ask, Is it racist?

"African planter."

A submission from lady Cell Member:

According to the title of the JPG file, this marvel is called "African Planter." Other than that, I have nothing to say.

...and if it is racist, how bad is it that I love this thing...and I want my own?

Inaugural post.

One of the highlights of my year was when an epic round of You're That—which, for the record, took place at the HomeGoods in Seekonk, MA on the weekend of NKB-VP-LTL's bachelorette party—spawned a new game: Is It Racist? Since then, I find that I have more opportunities than I would have imagined to pose this question in my everyday life.

Let's be clear: this is not a form of policing. Rarely do we even care about the answer. The fun is in the asking. If you have to ask, it doesn't matter if it's racist or it's not racist; it has become "Is It Racist?"—part of a whole new world of titillating possibility.

Is this wrong? I don't know. If you care, start your own blog. You can call it "Is 'Is It Racist?' Racist?"
